This is Dock AFC's first home Kit. The Dock Association Football Club was first formed in 1967 initially as the Rose & S...hamrock FC, based at the hostelry of the same name in Laird Street, Birkenhead. The Club joined Division 4 of the Birkenhead Sunday Football League and in 1970-71 gained successive promotions as Division 4 and Division 3 Champions, respectively. In 1972 further promotion to Division 1 was achieved as Division 2 Runners Up and in 1976, now under the name of Corsair FC, were invited into the League’s Premier Division (there was no automatic promotion to the Premier Division at that time).
