This tribute is part of the Veteran Match initiative organized in collaboration with the Danish Sports Confederation. The celebration includes a round of applause to honor those who have sacrificed under Denmark's banner in war. Additionally, the day will be marked by team captain Daniel Stenderup wearing a special edition jersey featuring the Veteran Match logo on the chest.
After the match, it will be possible to bid on this jersey, which will be auctioned off. The proceeds from the auction will go toward various initiatives that support Denmark's veterans, including "Safe Zones"—a project under the Danish Sports Confederation aimed at creating safe training communities within sports clubs.
