Almost half a year after his last competitive game, striker Fabian Klos has finally ended his career with a game on the ...Bielefeld Alm. The 36-year-old had invited many football celebrities to a friendly showdown on Saturday (October 12, 2024) under the motto "The last dance". Klos played a total of 463 competitive games for the former Bundesliga club Arminia Bielefeld between 2011 and 2024 and scored 180 goals. The farewell game featured 2014 world champion Christoph Kramer, second division record goalscorer Simon Terodde and Bielefeld's ex-goalkeeper Stefan Ortega, who plays for Manchester City and won the Champions League with the English team in 2023, among others. The two Bielefeld rappers Casper and Montez were also part of the "Bundesliga and Friends" team. The duel between the "Bundesliga and Friends" team and the "promotion heroes" ultimately ended 8:7 (3:3). Klos played for both teams in front of more than 20,000 spectators at the Bielefelder Alm and scored three goals.
