The Portugal national football team is the national soccer team of Portugal and represents the country in international competitions. The team has participated in every FIFA World Cup since the tournament began in 1930, and has reached the semi-finals twice, in 1966 and 2006. The team has also had success in the UEFA European Championship, having won the tournament in 2016.
Portugal's home kits have traditionally been predominantly red with green accents, while the away shirt is white usually. The kits are manufactured by Nike. The team is known for its talented players, such as Cristiano Ronaldo, who have helped lead Portugal to success in international competitions.
