On Sunday, Silkeborg IF honors and pays tribute to Danish veterans, and we are doing it again this year in collaboration... with DIF Soldiers Project from the Danish Sports Confederation through the Veteran Match initiative.
In connection with Veteran Match 2024, Silkeborg IF has invited former deployed war veterans and their relatives to JYSK park for Sunday's match against Brøndby IF.
You will also be able to bid on the 11 starting SIF players' match-worn jerseys after the game, with the proceeds going towards creating safe sports communities for veterans and police officers with physical and mental injuries.
The initiative is part of a joint effort involving all clubs in the 3F Superliga and NordicBet Liga, the entire Metal Liga, and most of the handball clubs in the Men's League.
