In connection with the match against FCN on Friday evening, there were several initiatives to honor Danish war veterans ...as part of Veteran Match.
Veterans and their relatives were invited to attend the match for free, and shortly before kickoff, there was a standing ovation in honor of Danish veterans.
The starting eleven players were also wearing special match jerseys with the Veteran Match logo on the chest.
The proceeds from these jerseys go entirely to DIF Soldiers Project's more than 50 nationwide Safe Zone training communities for veterans and police officers with physical and mental injuries.
